The end of the school year brought on retirement for my mom and to celebrate they took the whole family to Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend getaway!
Water parks aren't the best place to take photos - at least if you're wet from swimming and you don't want to drop your phone in the water! So, I have very few photos to show what a wonderful time we had. The kids kept busy in the water park and Ben convinced me to go down a slide...twice. It was OK....but I would not call it fun.
This was my one solid attempt at a photo of the boys in the water - they both immediately submerged themselves...
Saturday night dinner out was fun and the kids showed just how grownup they're becoming by doing really well while we waited. :-)
Although we were stuffed from supper, Ben had a hankering for Cold Stone ice cream afterward.
Sunday morning, while Erica watched Levi and Rylee in the water park, the rest of us played a round of mini-golf.
Noah took the game very seriously and tried hard to line up his shots, but ended up being pretty frustrated. We still had a good time and in the end I hope he realized that mini-golf is not worth taking so seriously.
Congrats mom on a wonderful career in education and thanks for taking us out to celebrate!
