Noah spends a lot of time farming, especially right after he's been out to the farm with grandpa. In this video, Noah and Ben are busy cutting milo, but Levi is in the background chewing on books. It's kind of crazy that Levi didn't come and join the farming...we usually can't keep him away from Noah's farm toys.

Wring it out & ride
Levi drools and drools...his shirts are soaked, every day, and yet there are only 2 little teeth in his mouth. He's had both of them since August...every day I wonder when another tooth will appear.
Below, he's playing outside in our front yard. He loves to crawl around outside and play in the dirt and grass. He has a tendency to eat dirt so his pacifier is necessary to guard against this.

Levi also loves to be on the move. He sat on Noah's tricycle for a long time one evening with Ben slowly pushing him around. He just beamed with joy!

What a day...
Today was Fall Fest at Bethel. Our day started at 5:45 a.m. when Noah came to our room - let's just say it wasn't the start to the day that we would have liked.
While at Bethel, we had a wonderful time in the kid area. Ben helped Noah feed animals in the petting zoo and Noah had fun exploring, jumping and sliding in the maze, on the moonwalk and slide.
We enjoyed a variety of foods - verenike, cookies, New Year's Cookies, lemonade, sloppy joes, chips, hot dog, pop and more verenike and cookies.
We walked around with my sister and saw many friends and lots of family.
After lunch, we came home for naps and then off I went with the boys to Kendall's house to see my girlfriends from college. Our time together was short, but sweet. We connected for a short time before the demands of our families pulled us in different directions. We had 4 little boys at our Girl's gathering...I vote for making it girls only next year. :-)
From Kendall's, we went to the football game at Bethel. Noah had literally been asking about going to a football game since he saw the stadium in the morning on the way to campus. Unfortunately, things didn't go very well at the game for Noah. He had a series of messy accidents in his underwear and we ended up leaving quite promptly when we ran out of clean underwear. Unfortunately, the plans for Noah to spend the night with grandpa and grandma went out the window, too.
Thankfully, when we got home Noah was on good behavior and I got both boys to bed pretty easily.
Ben's in "God's country" this evening watching the Huskers play. Hopefully, we'll have a quiet night at the Schrag house. I think we all need some good sleep.

He loved this slide, just LOVED it!

Verenike, yummy verenike. Levi had his first taste today and like it, a lot. But, just after these pictures were taken, he sneezed his verenike all over me, yuck.

The Newton Azteca Dancers performed and we watched them for a tiny bit. These pictures are terrible, because I was too far away, but I found the dresses just beautiful and wanted to include these images in this blog post anyway.

Holy hotdog, Batman! Noah only managed to down a couple bites of this enormous hotdog before he caught site of the huge slide. As soon as he spotted it, he was begging to go down it again. Thankfully, Aunt Erica was willing to take him while Ben and I finished eating lunch.

Courtney, our summer babysitter, helped us out with Levi a bunch today. She even fed him lunch! Thanks Courtney!

New Discovery
Levi crawls all over the house, but just the other morning, he discovered that the kitchen cabinets open. He was pretty excited to find the pots and pans. Now I just have to get ready to have the contents of my cabinets spread out around the kitchen...I remember when Noah did this. I would often leave for work in the morning with most of the contents from the bottom cabinets spread across the kitchen floor.
