One of a Kind

Levi's at such an interesting and fun stage of life. He's coming into his own, trying out boundaries and showing us glimpses of who he'll be.

One day I came to find this note on the door into the house.
Levi and I went on a date to the big city of Hesston. He wanted to eat at Scoops, the local burger and ice cream shop, then we went to see Hesston High School's production of "Beauty and the Beast." It was a lovely evening together.
During Tim and Sue's Thanksgiving visit we went for a walk and Levi ended up wearing Sue's coat - silly kid thought he'd be warm enough in shorts...
There is no lack of creativity when it comes to dressing up and putting on shows - he loves it.
He also enjoyed dressing up and serving us dinner during Thanksgiving week. One evening Grandma Schrag cooked and Levi (a.k.a. Leret and/or Levet) served us.
He helped zest key limes during Thanksgiving week - and most notably, he didn't zest his fingers!
And he was eager to help make rolls and create mini cinnamon rolls from left over pie crust dough.
He's eager to please, ready to put on a show but also (thankfully) quick to snuggle.
