For the first time, Noah got to go fishing with Grandpa Schrag! Noah had been jabbering about going fishing for at least a week before the momentous occasion and just like we all anticipated, his attention-span for fishing, like it is for most everything else in life, was short. But, thankfully, Grandpa had anticipated that too, and we all had a great time. We fished at a pond that is owned by a friend of Tim's. They have a gazebo by the pond and a dock, so Noah was busy running up and down the dock and into and out of the gazebo. He would play by himself in the gazebo, then run to see grandpa's latest catch. Tim taught Noah the basics of fishing, although I don't think much of it actually stuck...thankfully, there will be many more fishing opportunities in the future and Noah can continue to learn from Grandpa Schrag.
On the way to the pond. It was a beautiful location, sunny day with a cool breeze.
Noah checking out the pond. I think he kind of looks like a turtle in this photo.
One of Grandpa Schrag's many catches.
Running on the dock excited about catching another fish.
Throwing out fish food.
Sitting on grandpa's boat (in the garage).
